The Steppertron controller for stepper motors sets new standards in terms of compact design (the footprint of a NEMA 11 is only 28 x 28 mm) paired with functional density. The stepper motor controller now forms a direct spatial unit with the motor, so that the systems are equipped with intelligent motors that communicate with each other continuously. IQ5500 — the Modular Device Controller for a Wide Range of Applications
The IQ5500 combines state-of-the-art microcontroller technology, a variety of digital and analog interfaces, and an intuitive scripting language for programming. At its heart is a 120 MHz PIC32 that supports floating point arithmetic and efficiently processes complex motion profiles. Thanks to the optional touchscreen interface, user interfaces with graphical elements such as sliders, buttons, and LEDs can be displayed and controlled directly on the device.
One outstanding feature is the separation of motor control and application program. Each motor (servo drive) or Peltier element is controlled via its own 1K_Booster module, independently of the central application program. This architecture allows maximum flexibility for your desired application, e.g., when combining different drive technologies.

IQ5500 Compact — Space-saving, Powerful, and Ready to Use
The IQ5500 compact is the ideal solution for compact devices with up to four servo motors or Peltier elements. It combines the advantages of the IQ5500 in a smaller form factor and comes standard with four integrated 1K_Booster modules. It really comes into its own when large quantities are required or installation space is limited. The IQ5500 compact controller for servo motors was specially designed for applications where low space requirements, high functionality, and fast integration are important. Since the controller can be used to control not only motors but also Peltier elements, it can also be used to operate heating and cooling circuits – without the need to develop separate electronics.
Control is provided by the integrated 32-bit microcontroller with Basic interpreter, which makes it easy to map even complex motion sequences – without the need for an external PC. Whether in diagnostics, fluid dosing, sensor technology, or temperature control, the IQ5500 compact controller offers everything modern device developers need: compact design, high integration depth, simple programming, and robust control of motors and peripherals.

Steppertron — the Highly Flexible Controller for Stepper Motors
With Steppertron, CYBERTRON has developed a system that takes stepper motor control to a new level: modular, compact, and powerful. The highlight: the system's architecture is decentralized. The vibration-resistant control unit is located directly on the motor, saving space and facilitating integration. The system is designed for both open-loop and closed-loop operation, enabling flexible adaptation to the respective application. Configuration is carried out via the user-friendly Steppertron Studio, which significantly simplifies commissioning and fine-tuning – even for complex motion profiles.
Thanks to its numerous interfaces (RS485, RS232, CAN, IO-Link, SPI, and I2C), this stepper motor controller can be easily integrated into higher-level systems. All interfaces can be used simultaneously. A PID autotuning function is available for position control, which automatically calibrates the control loop and thus enables precise, dynamic movements with minimal programming effort.

It doesn't matter whether you need a 12 V or 24 V motor control system – our booster is suitable for both variants. Thanks to the clear separation between application logic and drive technology, the modules enable extremely flexible, high-performance, and self-sufficient motor control – ideal for complex device architectures with multiple drives.
Each 1K_Booster is equipped with its own powerful microcontroller, which is factory-loaded with firmware and can be updated via the carrier board if necessary. Communication takes place via an open, documented plain text protocol – ideal for integration into existing control systems and for the rapid development of your own software solutions.
