Our Range of Linear Axes at a Glance

CYBERTRON offers high-precision electric linear axes for use in laboratory equipment, automated analysis systems, and special-purpose machines. Our axis systems are compact, modular, and powerful—ideal for linear movements with high repeatability and long service life. Whether as a single linear axis or combined in a 2- or 3-axis system, our solutions enable a wide variety of automation requirements to be implemented efficiently. The choice of drive – such as a toothed belt or spindle drive – always depends on the specific requirements for precision, speed, and load capacity of the linear unit. Whether you are transporting samples, automating pipetting steps, or positioning optical components, our modular linear axes provide the basis for stable, repeatable, and future-proof laboratory processes.

By the way: In addition to the linear axes shown here, we also offer precision-manufactured rotary axes for your kinematic systems.

μMove – Our Most Compact Linear Axis for Maximum Precision

When maximum precision is required in a minimum of space, the μMove linear axis is the ideal solution. Developed for the most precise positioning tasks in laboratory equipment and analysis modules, this axis is ideal for micromechanics, optical systems, or sensitive pipetting movements.

Despite its extremely compact design, the μMove combines all the key components—from the drive and measuring system to the ball screw—in a plug-and-play system. The enclosed design provides reliable protection against external influences and ensures a long service life, even in continuous operation.

Whether as a Z-axis for pipetting heads or as part of a 2- or 3-axis system, the μMove is versatile and easy to integrate – especially where space is limited and high repeatability is required.

Technical Highlights:

  • Drive: DC servo motor with incremental encoder
  • Repeatability: ±8 µm
  • Maximum speed: 25 mm/s
  • Acceleration: up to 10 m/s²
  • Stroke: 36 mm
  • Payload: up to 1.0 kg
  • Design: choice of narrow or wide carriage
  • Mounting: suitable for cross-axis combinations
  • Special features: fully integrated control components, ready to plug in

pMove – Electric Linear Axis for Dynamic Handling Tasks

The pMove series was developed for applications that require both precision and dynamics. With longer stroke lengths, higher payloads, and selectable drive concepts, this electric linear axis offers maximum flexibility for automated processes in the laboratory.

Thanks to its integrated electronics, the pMove is plug-and-play wired and can be easily integrated into existing control systems. Depending on the variant (P1 or P2), different speeds and accelerations are possible – ideal for sample handling, assembly tasks, or moving measurement processes.

As with the μMove axis system, a narrow or wide carriage is available. The robust recirculating ball guide enables high forces and torques without compromising accuracy – even with frequent movement cycles.

Technical Highlights:

  • Drive: DC servo motor with incremental encoder
  • Repeatability: ±8 µm
  • Maximum speed: 60 mm/s (P1), 120 mm/s (P2)
  • Acceleration: up to 20 m/s² (P1), 10 m/s² (P2)
  • Standard strokes: 80, 150, or 200 mm
  • Payload: up to 10 kg (P1), 5 kg (P2)
  • Mounting: Cross-axis combination possible without additional plate
  • Special features: Integrated electronics, compact Binder connector, optional with servo control

CLiCK (Customizable Linear Cantilever Kinematics) – Highly Modifiable Axis Systems

Our CLiCK systems offer you the highest level of modularity. Thanks to their structured design, you can decide for yourself what length, positioning accuracy, and drive type you want for the individual linear units. Our axis system, which can be modified down to the last detail, offers a solution for every application. Each axis stands alone and can be equipped with intelligent motors based on our Steppertron stepper motor control.

The linear axes can be combined with each other as desired – this means that not only a single-axis system but also a 2- or 3-axis system is possible. From cantilever systems, as shown here, to variants guided on both sides, which can be implemented either suspended or standing, numerous combination options are possible in 2- or 3-axis systems.

You can choose the number and quality of the guide rails based on the application and budget – from cost-efficient axes for simple tasks to high-end axes for precise positioning at maximum speed. Your linear axis systems can be upgraded or downgraded at any time with minimal effort.

    Technical Highlights:

    • Drive: DC servo motors or stepper motors
    • Design: Cantilever system, guided variants, and other versions
    • Guided variant: Can be installed with suspension or standing
    • Control: Intelligent motors with control via Steppertron
    • Repeat accuracy: Choose individual settings
    • Speed: Choose individual settings
    • Quality: From cost-efficient linear axes for simple tasks to high-end linear axes for the most demanding requirements
